Welcome to Discord RPG (the “Bot”), a Discord role-playing game bot created by Doug Hurlburt. By using the Bot, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service.
  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the Bot.

2. Use of the Bot

  • The Bot is provided for entertainment purposes only.
  • You agree not to misuse the Bot, including but not limited to:
    • exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities,
    • attempting to disrupt service,
    • or harassing other users through Bot features.
  • The Bot may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Data Collection

  • The Bot may store your Discord User ID and game-related data (e.g., character information, inventory, stats).
  • The Bot does not collect sensitive personal information such as email addresses, payment details, or IP addresses.
  • Data is stored securely using Google Cloud Firestore.

4. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Bot at our discretion, particularly if you violate these Terms or Discord’s Terms of Service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Bot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of the Bot.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Bot.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes means you accept the updated terms.
